Railworks is a fucking joke. There's a new $8 DLC every week and it usually only consists of a few new models and one map. Don't buy it.

i cant think in a single person buying the (EXPENSIVE) game and ALL his ADDONS ( and all are expensive!!!)

Do people buy all the expansion pack (sort of like a digital Warhammer Figure habit) or do they just buy the single train DLCs that they like?

Steam Game Sales is listing this like it's the main game for 50%, (main game is $50, 50% off would be $25)

It is actually a bundle of the main game, plus a add on of some British train. If you have no interest in the add on, than it's really like 30% off the main game.

I choo-choo-choose not to spend every single dollar I have on computer trains.

Unless you really into trains, this is extremely boring. If I would like trains, I still wouldn't buy a videogame based on it, but a trainset.

Now we have both Trainz and Railworks DLC ads to look foreward to on Steam.

I think these guys' strategy is just to overrun Steam with a steady stream of dlc. Given the --presumably-- quite niche appeal of this game, I can see that annoying a fair amount of people

They keep adding DLC, you need to mortgage your house to buy the full pack hehe.

It would be cool if we could filter out railworks stuff from the sale list. just sayin :P

This doesn't look very interesting. Seems to be a very niche game.

This game is actually really getting on my nerves. It is CONSTANTLY plastered in the main areas of Steam (which is some smart free marketing on their part) simply because they churn out models regularly and get the default 10% launch discount for a week or two for each DLC. Considering they make one or two a week, that swamps both the "Specials" and "New Releases" tabs, which are the only things I check. It's incredibly annoying and I hope the guys at Steam aren't too enthused with a dinky, niche, minimum-effort game constantly spamming its way to the forefront. I respect that some people like this game and simulations in general, but the makers of RailWorks come across as pretty obnoxious.

I've never palyed this game, but it looks specific for some kind of people
